Their elegant winter wedding at TillingHouse in Monmouth County, New Jersey felt like the perfect blend of romantic elegance and heartfelt tradition.

Luxury Wedding Venue in Monmouth County

When Courtney and Brian were searching for their New Jersey wedding venue, they knew they wanted something that felt warm and inviting for a winter wedding that had a traditional and elegant setting close to their home. TillingHouse at Suneagles Golf course was exactly that.

With its cozy fireplaces, timeless architecture, and classic setting close to home, the venue created the perfect backdrop for an elevated winter celebration. The entire day felt intimate and welcoming and was filled with so many special moments.

First Look Moments

From the moment I arrived, Courtney’s energy completely set the tone for the day. She had such a good energy and fun vibe, which was infectious! It made the entire day feel effortless and joyful.

After Courtney was wedding ready she prepared to share a first look with her father. However, Courtney and her mom decided to surprise him by sending Courtney’s mom first. His reaction was priceless and had everyone laughing before the real first look even began. Then, when Courtney finally tapped her dad on the shoulder and he turned to see his little girl, it was such a sweet and emotional reaction.

Next, Courtney had her first look with Brian outside the TillingHouse. Brian waited outside as she approached from the building, and as loved ones watched from the windows above. The moment Brian saw Courtney, his face lit up. They were both so overjoyed and it was so sweet to witness.

Since it was a little chillier outside, Courtney had a beautiful, white fur shoulder wrap she put on to keep her warm as we captured wedding portraits outside around the stunning property of TillingHouse. The bridesmaids coordinated with a fur wrap of their own; only theirs was a more traditional brown fur that coordinated flawlessly with their green bridesmaids dresses. It was the perfect elegant winter wedding look.

TillingHouse Wedding Details

Courtney and Brian infused so much meaning into their celebration, weaving traditional and sentimental elements throughout the day. Their wedding style leaned into a romantic, vintage-inspired aesthetic with classic touches everywhere you looked. The color palette of pine green, navy blue, gold, and white brought their wedding to life and was a wonderful combination for winter. One of my other favortite details was their custom cocktail napkins in a pine green color and gold lettering that read “Christmas bells are ringing”, only “Christmas” was crossed off and replaced with “wedding.” Then their names and wedding date was written below. These custom and thoughtful details are what truly make wedding days personal and stand out.

During the wedding ceremony, Courtney and Brian did a traditional warming of the rings before saying “I do” and making it official. Following the ceremony, everyone moved into the reception space. Warm candlelight at each table created an intimate and romantic atmosphere. Pine green and navy blue plaid table runners tied into their winter colors and theme. Gold candle holders and table numbers completed the elegant tablescape.

For the reception, Brian changed from a classic black jacket to a plaid suit jacket that coordinated with the navy blue and pine green table runners. The newlyweds spent the rest of the evening celebrating while surrounded by their loved ones.
