Elegant Clarks Landing Wedding at Point Pleasant Beach, NJ | Haleigh & Alex
Haleigh and Alex’s elegant Clarks Landing wedding in Point Pleasant Beach was an emotional, joy-filled day. The entire day was planned with intention and meaning creating an unforgettable experience for all in attendance.
When I asked Haleigh how they chose their venue, her answer said it all. She envisioned something classic, timeless, light, and airy, with a touch of the beach. Clarks Landing was the perfect fit, not only for its aesthetic, but for its proximity to Bay Head, her beach town.
This New Jersey wedding venue, Clarks Landing, is ranked the number ONE wedding venue in the country!! Once you see it, you can understand why. It has breathtaking waterviews and access near the water for the most gorgeous wedding portraits. The interior of the venue blends modern luxury and elegance while still remaining timeless. Haleigh and Alex’s classic and elegant wedding style complemented the venue’s aesthetic perfectly.
Getting ready
Alex got ready with his groomsmen, wearing an embroidered tux. Meanwhile, Haleigh readied with her bridesmaids and enjoyed champagne on the balcony. She then got in her wedding dress, which was stunning! It was a sleek, classic strapless gown with a long cathedral length veil with lace around the border. Before the ceremony she changed her look slightly with a lace top. I loved this little change up for the traditional ceremony, giving her two different looks.
During Haleigh’s first look with her dad, he was overcome with emotion taking in the sight of his daughter in her wedding dress. Later, as he saw his wife all dressed and ready for the day, the tears came again.
Haleigh’s dad also brought along a vintage car, which made for some of the most timeless portraits of the day.
Church Wedding Ceremony
Haleigh and Alex chose to be married in a traditional church ceremony. They also wanted to save their first moment of seeing each other for when Haleigh was walking down the aisle. However, Instead of a first look, they shared a quiet first touch, where they read private vows to one another while standing back to back. It was such an intimate and meaningful moment. I love that they still carved out a moment to connect before their day officially began. Their church ceremony was beautiful, and afterwards the newlyweds were greeted by a flurry of bubbles from their guests.
Elegant Clarks Landing Wedding Details
Haleigh and Alex displayed photos of past weddings in their families, honoring generations before them in such a thoughtful way. And in a more playful nod to their life together, they named a signature cocktail, The Bad Olive, after their cat, Olive. They also incorporated other fun details like custom matchbox favors, a “Paw Bar” with treats for all the furry friends at home, dancing shoes for those who wanted out of their high heels, and end of the night Happy Meals for the afterparty. Every detail was thoughtfully considered and flawlessly executed.
During their reception, we snuck away for some golden hour portraits, which were absolutely gorgeous by the water. Later in the evening, Haleigh changed into a short, chic white reception dress. I loved the new look for some fun night photos inside the elevator to end the day.
Haleigh and Alex, your wedding day was beautiful from start to finish and it was such an honor to be a part of it. Congratulations to you both!
