I love weddings by the water, and Nicole and Nicholas’ waterfront Avon Yacht Club wedding was the perfect combination of coastal elegance, timeless design, and meaningful moments. Set against the stunning backdrop of the Jersey Shore, their day was filled with breathtaking views, heartfelt moments, and an unforgettable sunset.

Jersey Shore Wedding Venue

Nicole and Nicholas fell in love with Avon Yacht Club when they saw the venue's sweeping waterfront views. They knew right then it was the ideal place to bring their dream of a Jersey Shore wedding to life. Avon Yacht Club creates an elegant and relaxed atmosphere.

Before the ceremony, the day began at Nicole's childhood home where she got ready with her crew. There is something so special about getting ready in the home where so many memories have been made. Surrounded by family and the familiar comforts of home, Nicole spent the morning preparing for one of the most important days of her life.

Candid First Look Reaction

One of my favorite moments from the day was Nicole and Nicholas' first look near the beach. As soon as Nicholas turned around and saw his bride, his reaction said everything. He was overcome with emotion, creating one of those genuine moments that every couple hopes to experience. It was impossible not to smile watching them together as they took in the moment.

A Romantic Beach Ceremony

Nicole and Nicholas exchanged vows on the beach with the water stretching endlessly behind them. Their ceremony design perfectly complemented the natural beauty of the shoreline. A stunning driftwood wedding arch decorated with flowing white and tan fabric, lush greenery, and white florals created a romantic focal point without competing with the breathtaking ocean views. While it was windy on the beach, it allowed for some great veil shots at the beach.

Timeless Coastal Design

Following the ceremony, guests made their way into Avon Yacht Club's elegant ballroom. Large windows allowed everyone to continue enjoying the incredible waterfront views throughout the evening. Inside, the timeless design carried into the reception featuring gold table numbers, and tall, gold stands showcased lush white floral centerpieces. Greenery woven throughout the tablescape brought softness and texture. I loved the soft, neutral color palette Nicole and Nicholas chose for the wedding. The champagne, ivory, cream, white, and tan was elegant and complemented the waterfront setting flawlessly. Every detail was thoughtfully curated to enhance the coastal setting of the venue.

Sunset Portraits Along the Water

As beautiful as every part of the day was, sunset portraits were undoubtedly one of my favorite moments. As the evening approached, soft shades of pink and orange began painting the sky. The water reflected the changing colors, creating a breathtaking backdrop for Nicole and Nicholas' sunset portraits. This beautiful moment together allowed them to step away from the celebration for a few minutes and simply soak in the beauty of the day, the joy of becoming husband and wife, and the beginning of their next chapter together.
