Madison Hotel Wedding ceremony at The Conservatory

Lisangi and Anthony's gorgeous wedding day at The Madison Hotel is proof that even a rainy forecast can't overshadow a beautiful celebration. Even though rain fell throughout much of the day, it never took away from the joy of their wedding day. Their wedding took place in one of my favorite spaces at the venue, The Conservatory, which is undoubtedly the heart of the property.

Filled with glass windows from top to bottom, elegant white architectural details, and an abundance of natural light, the Conservatory creates a bright, airy atmosphere that feels like an indoor garden. Even on an overcast, rainy day, the space glows beautifully. Looking through these photographs, you would never guess it rained for most of the wedding day.

A New Jersey Love Story

Both Lisangi and Anthony grew up in New Jersey before eventually making Arizona their home due to work. Returning to New Jersey to celebrate with family and friends made their wedding weekend even more meaningful, allowing them to exchange vows in the place where so much of their story began.

Timeless Wedding Details

Lisangi and Anthony envisioned a classic wedding design that perfectly complemented the natural beauty of the Conservatory. Soft white roses paired with eucalyptus and lush greenery adorned both the ceremony and reception spaces and made up Lisangi’s bridal bouquet, creating an elegant and organic aesthetic throughout the day.

While the rain kept us on our toes throughout the day, it certainly didn't stop us from creating beautiful portraits. The grass was still damp, but Lisangi and Anthony were completely willing to embrace the moment, and I'm so glad they did. We stepped outside between showers to capture portraits around the property, and they quickly became some of my favorites from the day.

Sometimes couples worry that rain will ruin their wedding photographs, but days like this are the perfect reminder that flexibility and a beautiful venue can make all the difference. Between the stunning indoor spaces and the lush grounds surrounding The Madison Hotel, there are endless opportunities to create timeless images regardless of the forecast.

It was such an honor to document the beginning of this chapter for two people whose story started in New Jersey, took them across the country, and brought them home to celebrate one unforgettable day together.
